Grand Opening: theDock – Centre for Social Impact!
On November 3rd, we officially opened an additional floor of social impact co-working in downtown Victoria at theDock – Centre for Social Impact.
Stop by 722 Cormorant Street and take a tour of the freshly renovated ground floor, complete with private offices, dedicated desks, a co-working lounge, and meeting rooms built for teamwork and collaboration.
theDock is a social enterprise created for the community. It provides work and event space, connection, access to learning, and unique events within an inspiring culture, making it possible to pilot and test initiatives, bring the community together, and increase impact.
The overarching vision is a connected and impactful social change sector in Victoria, BC. Impact businesses, community organizations, and social entrepreneurs have access to co-working spaces, offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
In 2014, theDock opened its doors in FanTan Alley, in Victoria’s Chinatown, providing work and event space for social purpose entrepreneurs and organizations. In 2016, theDock moved to its current home at 722 Cormorant Street, a beautiful and bright space in the heart of downtown.
