Expanding Indigenous Perspectives (2015-present)

Indigenous Perspectives Society approached Scale in 2015 to look at a social enterprise opportunity. It didn’t go as planned…

Scale Collaborative was first contacted by IPS to assess a waste management social enterprise. After conducting market research and comparing against IPS’ core competencies, the opportunity seemed to lay elsewhere. Indigenous Perspectives Society built on its amazing training programs in Indigenous communities to support ALL organizations and communities to better understand Indigenous experiences and advance towards reconciliation. IPS’ social enterprise offers training programs and services that help foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives, cultural differences, and the need for self-determination. Scale has been privileged to walk alongside IPS’s leadership team as they realize these enterprising opportunities.

“The Indigenous Perspectives Society has worked with Scale Collaborative a number of times over many years. We choose to work with Scale not only because of their professional service but also because of the results they are able to implement, change they are able to mobilize, and outcomes they stand behind. In the last 5 years our organization has been able to reduce our dependency on government funding by more than 20% as a result of the coaching and work done with Scale Collaborative.” -Rachelle Dallaire, Executive Director
